The fan works excellent, keeps my laptop cool, It's a good product for the money!!... So, don't think too much to buy it!!
 GREAT IDEA, BUT ... May 28, 2009
This item actually works as promised, with a couple of small problems. First, the four little foam dots don't keep the laptop from slipping around. I had to add some foam strips to keep it more stable. Second, and this is just my laptop, a Toshiba Satellite, I couldn't run a wireless internet connection with the device attached. It simply would NOT do it. I have to detach the fan to be on the internet. Oh well.

This product is the worst. the 4 port usb hub works ok, but the reason why you purchase this item is the cooling pad part. It has two fans which do no circulate the hot air efficiently. The fans aren't powerful either. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. It will waste your time & money. I do NOT recommned this to anyone. After 1 week of buying this, i bought Belkin F5L001-BLK Laptop Cooling Pad instead. The Belkin works really well, because of its design and ease of use. i recommed the Belkin F5L001-BLK Laptop Cooling Pad to anyone!

It helps keep the laptop cooler for sure and is powered by USB.
Not sure about durability as this is my 2nd one in a little over a year. the 4 USB ports only work at USB 1.1

Serioulsy Dissapointed. Used it two days and now sit atop my bookshelf.
The concept for this item is so simple and inexpensive, there no reason to use such low quality matierial. It feels very cheap, and the way it was put together was also poor. I had to finish snapping it into place! I recommend you pay $10 more for the better one.
