4Ok but not the best  Sep 29, 2009
I got this to cool my Acer 5672WLMi laptop when I travel with it (it gets very hot when I don't have 2-3 external fans blowing on it). I tried it out on a regular flat table and without additional fans, my palm rests would still make my hands sweat and the table top beneath would still become very hot after 2 hours of light use. From what I could tell, the air wasn't getting from the back to the very front due to the incline so I might try using a second fan or book to prop the other half of the computer up so the air can circulate completely. I was tempted to give this item 3 stars but I know how hot my computer can get so this item gets the benefit of the doubt.

    4Good notebook cooler  Aug 03, 2009
This notebook cooler does a good job of keeping my overheating laptop cool most of the time. When I play graphics-intensive games, though, my notebook heats back up again. The cooler is sturdy and I actually like having the keyboard tilted up on it, but I wish it had an ultra high setting for when I'm playing games. I haven't had any shut downs but occasionally my laptop is hot enough that it's uncomfortable to keep using it (especially in the summer).

    5Works The Way I'd Hoped  Jul 04, 2009
After adding additional memory, my laptop computer kept overheating and shutting down - sometimes after 5 hours, sometimes after 5 minutes. I was skeptical that such an inexpensive solution would work, but it has! The computer has not shut down once while using the cooler. I like the pass-through port that allows me to keep my external hard drive and mouse hooked up even while I have the cooler on. This saved me from having to replace my laptop right away.

    5Good product  Jun 10, 2009
This notebook cooler does just what is advertised. It isn't as loud as some of the Targus coolers, and it keeps the laptop angled up which makes typing easier. It plugs in via USB connection, and has an outlet on the end of the plug so you can plug another device into it. It's small enough to be portable, and does a great job cooling down my laptop.

All in all its a great value for a great cooler.

5Notebook Cooler Does the Job  May 02, 2009
This design makes so much more sense than other types: The back of the notebook is raised off the table just enough to significantly increases air circulation...and the quiet fans deliver circulation right where it does the most good. The only disadvantage to the design is that it extends the front to back space needed for the notebook by 4-5 inches. If space is really tight, this unit may not be the ticket for you. But it worked for me..I liked it so much I ordered one as a gift to my brother. Plus..it's extremely compact. Great design...excellent product.
