    4Excellent Keyboard, but a bit pricey  Jan 25, 2010
Honestly, a great keyboard. Kind of pricey, but I have been using the nice "older" model keyboards. While it doesn't have the same sound, it doesn't matter in the least, as my WPM go up by around 20 to 30 by using this keyboard versus a laptop keyboard, or those terrible "cheap" microsoft keyboards.

The lighting is absolutely genius on this keyboard; you have the option to turn it OFF.

I will note that this thing is a dust magnet. I would wholly recommend buying a cover when you're not using it.

Tacky? Maybe, but you'll save yourself some trouble in the future.

This would get a 5-star review if it didn't cost so much.

    3It is ok but!  Jan 14, 2010
I bought this keyboard about 1 year ago; I am first going to list the features that I like about it.
    1. I love the volume sound wheel right on the top of the keyboard in the dead center. It is a manual mechanical wheel and it does the job. My speakers are not close to me and so I love the volume control because I can reach it very quickly and very conveniently.
    2. The mute button is right there as well.
    3. I like the programmable extra keys and the software that comes with it.
    4. The video player control keys are around the sound controller wheel so I can fast forward, pause, play or rewind just a push of a button on this keyboard. -
    5. I like where the additional USB ports are located. I use one for the plug in of my mouse and the other for a thumb drive which means it don't have to screw around with the computer case, Very conveniently located on the top side of the keyboard.

    6. So here is my greatest grip. The number and letters on the keyboard could be a little bit larger and bolder, and the back-light, lighting sucks. I do like to play some of the on line games late at night. So I need these keys to be easier to read and better back-lighting. There are only two modes to this, dim and very dim lighting, which to me the very dim is worthless. I wish they have 5 modes to the back-lighting and possibly 3 different colors of light to choose from. Then they would blow the competition out of the water but for now I was disappointed in the back light keys.
    7. The little prop up legs to give you a incline for your wrist to sit comfortable on, is a joke they barely raise the keyboard.

    4Logitech G11 Gaming keyboard  Dec 17, 2009
I really like the layout and extra buttons for gaming, the only thing is that it is too wide to fit under my desk and now I cant hide the keyboard tray. Once you go to a back lit keyboard, I can't see how you will ever not have one again. I may upgrade to a shorter version in the future but it will DEFINITELY have a back lit keys.

Very nice tactile feel on the keys themselves and much better than any other Logitech keyboard where the keys felt a little mushy. I would recommended this to any WOW or other games that require 1 button to cast spells and such. 18 extra buttons give you a lot of flexibility.

    5Great keyboard  Dec 10, 2009
I've had this keyboard for about a year and a half now and I just love it! I've never had any problems with it and I spend way more time than anyone should at a computer playing games. Beautiful backlite keys plus great extras like macro keys and music track and volume control buttons. I have even spilled beer, milk, and water onto this thing yet it just keeps working flawless! Love it!!!

    5good programmable keyboard  Dec 05, 2009
great keyboard! cheaper that all the other logitech "G" class keyboards. really nice backlit keys, and the letters actually light up bright blue.

    pros:
has pretty much limitless programming ability. for instance, my work requires me to cut/paste constantly and rapidly, so i programmed ctrl-x and ctrl-v in there. you can even add complex macros :)

    cons:
didnt have much use for the wire channels under the keyboard. i guess the cord could be a couple feet longer. a little on the expensive side of keyboard prices, but i think worth it
