Good Card, but get a bit warm. Nov 13, 2009 This is a great card.I installed it quite easy. It is long so make sure that you have enough room in case(tower). It does get pretty hot, but these graphics card can heat up to 115 degrees, so I am not worried.
Great used card prompt and exelent service Mar 29, 2009 I built my system about a year prior and did not get the secant card for my SLI thinking i could save some green and buy it later. later came and it had been discontinued. scoured the net and found only a few used cards, made my choice and no regrets. card came in days before expected and works beautifully. average 60 fps on my multibox 3 wow accounts. nothing bad to say about it, get you some.
are you on something if your chargeing this price Jan 27, 2009 you have got to be kidding. the 8800 gt superclock is a great card i have 2 in sli mode and work awesome. but to charge the general public half a grand that is a rip off. i bought both of mine from another e-retailer for only a quarter of a grand i repeat i bought two for only two fifty. so how can you charge five hundred for one
Fantastic Card Jan 20, 2009 I've owned this card for about a year now, it runs many games very well. It struggles with games like Crysis at full settings, however. But it still packs quite a punch. However the current price of this card is waaaay too high ($450 is waaaay too much... Even the best cards on the market currently are less than $400). Face it, even though I love this card, it is starting to get dated. And it runs hot, find a way to control its' fan speed or it will overheat often. I got my 8800GT superclocked for $100.
EVGA has my loyalty Dec 18, 2008 I upgraded my computer over a year ago. New case, power supply, drives, and a BFG card. The BFG card went belly up within a couple days. Returned to the store I bought it from, and they didn't have another. Ordered this one from EVGA. It lasted a couple weeks, but EVGA cross shipped another one immediately. I didn't have to wait till they received my old one. Also, they know you're going to overclock it and that does not affect the warranty as long as you're reasonable and it didn't die due to a leaking water cooling system. Good company. Looking forward to my next upgrade with their products.
