    5worked like a charm  Nov 11, 2009
This item is a must have. I was able to plug and play within 5 minutes of installation. It works flawlessly on my computer to be able to stream video from my tower to my TV. Seller had it at my door in less than 5 days as promised.

5Inexpensive, good quality, GREAT technical supoprt  Oct 18, 2009
This is the second EVGA card that I have purchased. I don't use it for anything too demanding - it's just in a PC running my home media server on Windows XP ([...])

So the first EVGA card (older model, now discontinued) that I bought a couple of years ago died. I opened the computer and looked at the card: several capacitors had blown. I called EVGA technical support to ask about warranty replacement, and was told it was out of warranty. So I asked for a recommendation for a replacement and he said to get this one. Why did I do that? Because when I called tech support I wasn't on hold for more than 3 minutes, and talked to a knowledgeable, helpful person who was ... uh, knowledgeable and helpful.

Also: the card is cheap, the drivers are solid, and it can drive two monitors at once.

    4works great!  Oct 15, 2009
it's been two years and my pc is catching up with time after a few system upgrade, from RAM,PSU to CPU, this time is for my video card. i chose nforce 8400 gs among others because it's not expensive yet it can play most of mid-range game out there. The performance of my system boost much better then using my dedicated gpu. but for hard gamer i'm sure they know better than using this card. if your pc is just for internet, watching video, editing picture using simple program then this is the card that will ease your job.

    5EVGA 512-P2-N738-LR GeForce 8400 GS 512MB DDR2 PCI-Express Graphics Card  Oct 04, 2009
I bought this card to replace a GeForce 8500 card that went bad in just a little over a year. This card was easy to install and is working great. It also has twice the memory of the card that I had. It was an easy fix for my computer at a low price.

    5Good Value  Sep 30, 2009
Bought this card for brand new Compaq desktop to be able to use DirecTV new DVR PC application (Direct2pc) which requires a higher performance video card to run. Very easy to install and works well .. good value for the performance. This card has a fan, so, there is some slight additional fan noise from the PC now .. not too bad. Only issue was the card looked like it was opened prior to receipt (static bag was not sealed) and CD enclosed did not have VISTA drivers .. obtained those from the mfr's web site. Other than that, the card works beautifully as advertised .. A-OK.
