3You get what you pay for!  Feb 28, 2010
Great way to save money by not splurging on an expensive cable!

Cheaply made though, the metal casing housing the ends of the wires on the male end of the HDMI came right off and theres no way I can fix it. You get what you pay for.

The cable was inexpensive and works exactly as needed as a second monitor cable for our laptop.

3Not Sure What to Think...  Feb 15, 2010
Overall, an okay transaction. This was my first time purchasing through a vendor vs Amazon direct. The product got here in brand new condition as promised. However, it took longer than typical when ordering through Amazon directly.

As far as quality, I'm not sure what to think. As noted earlier, construction quality looked good and appeared brand new. However, when using the DVI-HDMI connection vs. the component video connection originally used I was disappointed. It was actually less quality, more along the lines of a coax to composite video type quality. This is the first time I've used a DVI-HDMI connection. Maybe that is how they are. However, I was expecting the same HDMI quality I get from my Xbox. And no, it wasn't the source. I was actually using HDTV programming as my comparison basis. FWIW, the HD channel was running through Cox Cable via a Motorola DVR unit.

Again, not sure if it had something to do with the Moto box, the fact DVI-HDMI connections stink or the fact I got a bad cable. I'm just glad I didn't have more invested or I'd be upset.

    5great product awesome price  Feb 14, 2010
this only cost me less than 5.00 landed at my house. The retail stores would charge more than 20.00 for this.

    Great product awesome price.

5Connection Issue for Older Hi-Def LCD TV Resolved  Feb 11, 2010
This cable made it possible to connect my 6-year-old Sharp Aquos LCD TV to a new Panasonic Blu-Ray Disc Player which has the newer HDMI cable connection. However, I thought there was something wrong with the cable until a friend told me that the older DVI cable does not carry audio and I had to connect the sound separately with RCA cables.
