Power Suppl Upgrade Aug 08, 2009 First time review for Amazon, who have earned my respect as my favorite "on-line" site.
I'm a gamer, and Flight Sim Enthusiast. This has me using high capacity CPU,High End Video, Velociraptor 10,000RPM HD's.I was attempting this on a 500W PS and experiencing less than standard performance so decided to up the power supply as a possible correction and happened to read about the CoolMax 750W. What a pleasant surprise--simple installation and best of all, the feature of modular power distribution cables made the installation clutter free of excess wiring and a much cooler operating case since the airflow through it is far less constricted and interrupted.
I'm delighted to give it a five star recommendation!!
Powerfull and convenient power supply... Apr 22, 2009 I'm very happy with this power supply. I have a "a6350" HP Pavilion Desktop PC and I was afraid that not fit in the case, fortunately I had no problem because its size is standard and fits perfectly. Installation was really easy, repeat, really easy (believe me I'm not an expert switching power supplies), I took a few minutes to select the cables needed, then just replace the old power supply with this and... Ready to go!!! It comes with all necessary cables and its modular design lets the air run freely within the case... Besides being powerful and functional looks nice!
A tip: connect the cables to the new source before replacing the old one, look carefully the plugs attached to the motherboard, one by one disconnect and replace the old cables with new cables, until all are in place, then remove the old power supply and mount this.
My PC config: (works smoothly with this Power Supply)
* HP Pavilion a6350.
* Intel Core2 Quad CPU.
* Logitech MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse.
* Logitech Illuminated Ultrathin Keyboard with Backlighting.
* OCZ DDR2 800MHz 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) Gold Edition Kit.
* PNY GeForce 9800GT 1GB DDR3 PCI-E 2.0.
* Sound Blaster Audigy SE Sound Card.
* Iomega Prestige 1 TB USB 2.0 Desktop External Hard Drive.
* D-Link DGL-4500 Xtreme N Dualband Draft 802.11n Gaming Router.
* Bluetooth USB 2.0 Micro Adapter Dongle.
* Epson WorkForce 600 Wireless All-in-One Printer.
* Scientific Atlanta 2100 Cable Modem.
* Xbox 360 Controller.
* And maybe 3 or 4 more stuff... I don't remember at the moment.
Easy Mar 24, 2009 This my my first build. I use MS FSX quite often. Simplicity was paramount. I was not willing to go through the headache of figuring out what went where. Every review stated that modular is so easy and they were correct. Especially if you use big video cards; you absolutely need a modular because of limited space and the need for 6 pin connectors straight from the power supply. So if you want ease of installation, get a modular. You will not be sorry!!!

Easy to install!!! Nov 18, 2008 I bought a new graphics card, and realized I needed a new power supply to power it. I never installed a power supply before, so I was really nervous about trying it. I always heard it was easy, so I rolled the dice.
It was so easy to install!!! (THANK GOD!!!) although my tower case was small and as a pain to get my hands around.
The power supply has modular cables, so you only take out and plug in what you are going to use which is great. This definitely made it easier to install since I just matched the plugs I needed.
I would definitely recommend this power supply to anyone who needs some extra juice for their PC, especially to those who have never changed one before.

Great PSU, but.... Nov 18, 2008 This a great Power Supply. But careful of the cable length for your case. I installed this in a Cooler Master 690 case and found that some of the cables were lacking in length. Everything still hooked up fine but the extra length would have allowed me to do a better cable management inside the case. Don't know if anyone else had a problem with this.
