I should have read the reviews before buying.. tsk Nov 28, 2009 I bought a V-500 power supply about 2 months ago to replace another cool max supply that had died.
Within that 2 months, the fan malfunctioned, seized up and the power supply overheated and fried itself. TOAST
Ah well, after another trip to the store this time to get a Thermaltake supply, the computer is back up, but I WONT be making the mistake of buying any more products from coolmax. EVER.
Do yourselves a favor and steer clear of coolmax, just go with a quality unit to start with, says the voice of experience.
One annoyance but otherwise awesome. Jul 14, 2009 The Power Supply works amazing and got here really quick. My only problem was that although it was listed as compatible with the old Dell PC I was installing in, it did not fit the case. I had to use steel cutters to widen the gap in the metal on the back of the case to allow the power cord to be plugged into the supply. Aside from this everything was perfect.

Cheap and good Jul 06, 2009 Works as advertised.
Have been using it for a month and don't see any issues with it.
A bargain at the price I paid compared to the others.
power supply Jan 26, 2009 shipping very fast and power supply is very quiet and vib free. very happy with product
You get what you pay for Jun 26, 2008 I thought I was getting a great bargain buying this unit a year ago. A year later, I've recently noticed my PC shutting down mysteriously. Now the cooling fan is making a gawd awful noise like something's come loose and is getting knocked around by the fan blades...I wouldn't recommend.
