Usually ships in 1-2 business days | | | | | | The high-density, ceramic-based thermal compound is specifically designed for modern high-power CPUs and high-performance heatsinks or water-cooling solutions. The Evolution of Cool! Ceramique uses a high-density layered composite of five unique shapes of thermally conductive aluminum oxide, boron nitride and zinc oxide sub-micron particles to maximize particle-to-particle contact area and thermal transfer. This exclusive combination provides performance exceeding most metal-based compounds.Ceramique does not contain any silicone. The suspension fluid is a proprietary mixture of advanced polysynthetic oils that provide superior performance and long-term stability. During the system's initial use, the heat from the CPU lowers the viscosity of the compound to enhance the filling of the microscopic valleys and ensure a minimum bond line between the heatsink and the CPU core. Then the compound thickens slightly over the next 100 to 300 hours of use to its final consistency designed for long-term stability.Ceramique is engineered to not separate, run, migrate, or bleed. It does not contain any metal or other electrically conductive materials. It is a pure electrical insulator, neither electrically conductive nor capacitive. Ceramique can easily be cleaned from CPUs and heatsinks with isopropyl alcohol. The 2.5-gram Ceramique is the first product available in a proprietary thermal compound syringe. The new syringe is more compact, easier to handle and dispenses a higher percentage of its content than standard industrial or medical syringes. The amount of compound remaining in the syringe is easy to determine, as the rear of the plunger is perfectly flush with the flange when the syringe is empty. | | | |

Greatly lowers temperatures and won't short circuits Mar 08, 2009 I recently bought this to replace the Dell heat sink compounds on my portable computer as I upgraded my processor.
One has to be careful to not use electrically-conductive thermal grease on chips which have small circuit features immediately on or next to them. While my processor module was completely immune to short circuits (Intel's packaging insulates the entire module, allowing electrically-conductive materials to be used), both my graphics chip and a bus chip were not as well designed, and since both also shared the heat piping system for internal cooling, I had to assure they continued to vent properly.
Fortunately, after some visiting to different websites, I found this to be the best to try. I was very impressed! My graphics chip now runs about 20F degrees cooler than before and the whole bottom of the portable feels much cooler.
Although I would recommend the electrically-conductive Arctic Silver for chips which have appropriate insulation (due to the slightly better heat conductivity it has), without a doubt I heartily recommend this compound for all other uses, and if you must, this would work fine on processor modules, as well.
Buy this and you won't be sorry.
got here and works well Feb 16, 2009 The item arrived quite quickly and of course worked well. Only problem was I paid 4.99 for shipping yet it got sent with 1.17 in stamps. Oh well my pc runs cool now.

Special non-conductive thermal compound Dec 22, 2008 I'm a bigger fan of Arctic Silver 5 Thermal Compound for cooling CPUs, but Ceramique has it's place. The nice thing about it is that it is 100% non conductive, which means you can be messy with it without worries about shorting out your board. This is really nice if you're applying it to things other than your CPU (like the mosfets on a motherboard). I don't think it is as effective as AS5 at dropping temps, but for what it's intended for, it is really useful.

Great temps once you get it applied. Jan 11, 2007 It can be tricky to spread, but if you follow the new instructions and just apply a ribbon it is pretty easy.
Droped my temps 3 deg c from AS-5
